Heather is such a beautiful and photogeinic woman. It’s hard to believe that she is usually behind the camera. Luckily wonderful photographers eventually do get in the shot!
Heather’s hair was pretty and long, she had a great side part (always flattering) and a nice side bang.
Heather came in with a cut in mind. She wanted long, piecey layers and most importantly movement. Her hair appeared very heavy and seemed to weigh down the quirky, fun loving gal.
I began Heathers cut by just trimming the ends.I did this for health purposes, avoiding to take any unnecessary length. I then went through giving her lots of layers, next defining those layers with tons of texture. By doing this I was able to give her the movement and piecy layers that she was wanting. I finished up the cut by trimming her bangs and taking some of the weight out, helping to frame not hide her face.
I finished the whole style by applying the proper product for her hair and drying the hair away from the scalp. This gave her a little lift vs. laying flat against her head. I ran a flat iron through her hair in sections, helping to define the individual layers. Heather purchased a professional flat iron to maintain her new look.
